Anders Olsson, Manager of Smart Specialisation in the Värmland Region, has more than 25 years of experience in the area of regional sustainable development. He has worked with learning processes and policymaking for regional development internationally, in Sweden, and in the region of Värmland with the triple helix actors. Some of his specialties are planning and development processes in systemic perspectives.

He has been in charge of elaborating the regional development program, forming a regional cluster strategy and two generations of smart specialisation strategies for Värmland. Most recently, he participated in an OECD delegation to evaluate the regional innovation system in Newfoundland.
