Brigitte Kriszt studied Material Science and did her Ph.D. at the Montanuniversität (Austria). In 2004 she started to work at the Industrial Liaison Institute of Montanuniversität. In that position, she coordinated many regional or national initiatives such as Material Cluster Styria, Nanonet, and Additive Manufacturing Austria in cooperation with industry. In 2017 she became engaged in RRI H2020 projects. She coordinated the IAMRRI project and the STYRIAN coordinator in the DigiTeRRI project.
